Tees Advanced Manufacturing Park (TeesAMP) has been shortlisted for Commercial Development of the Year in the North East Property Awards.

With the winners set to be unveiled at a gala dinner at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead in July, the awards are an ideal platform to recognise and reward the property sector in the region, which has performed outstandingly well over the course of a number of years.

The event showcases the many outstanding developments, schemes and deals from the last twelve months and the skilled agents, developers, investors and other property professionals based in the region.

Among these developments is TeesAMP, which has proven to be a real success story for the Tees Valley.  Located on an 11-hectare site on the banks of the River Tees, Tees AMP consists of 22 buildings ranging from 3,000 to 45,000sqft with almost all of the units now occupied or under offer.

Featuring high quality, high specification buildings for manufacturing and R&D facilities, TeesAMP is becoming a focal point for innovation and advanced engineering in the Tees Valley.

Chaloner Group  developed the site in partnership with Middlesbrough Council and Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) in order to attract innovative companies to the area, resulting in more job opportunities created for the Tees Valley.

Other members of the TeesAMP development team include Robertson’s Construction; Dodds Brown; Cushman & Wakefield; Logic architecture; Portland Consulting; Structural & Civil Consultants and JHP.
