Creating the Tees Advanced Manufacturing Park – TeesAMP – a dynamic base to attract modern advanced manufacturing companies and processes to the Tees Valley.

TeesAMP provides a 21st century environment with modern facilities to help businesses maximise potential for products and services, making Tees Valley synonymous with advanced manufacturing and emerging technologies.

£55m has been invested to date, with funding secured from Middlesbrough Council (£12.5m): Tees Valley Combines Authority (£7.65,): SSI Taskforce (£2.3m) as well as substantial private investment.

TeesAMP will make a significant contribution to the economy of Tees Valley, attracting excellent firms and the jobs they will bring.

Phase one includes a 180,000 sq. ft. of space with more units designed to bespoke specifications in phase two – all set in well designed, high specification buildings with a quality landscaped environment with extensive open spaces. The investment also includes a £25 million anaerobic digester which will use food and biological waste to create power.

Demand for space at TeesAMPhas been phenomenal and the units have been quickly taken, directly creating up to 1,000 new jobs with an additional 400 derived and supply chain jobs.
