Award winning park-based residential development.
Cambridge Square in Middlesbrough is a luxury residential development designed as a revival of the Victorian ideal of a private park. Surrounding residential buildings face inwards to a communal green, creating a haven of peace and exclusivity.
The development sits on the heritage site of the former Broomlands Children’s Home, meaning planning permissions had to be gained prior to the regeneration. The plans included permission for seven townhouses, 66 apartments and three underground car parks.
The high quality, lifestyle-led design resulted in all units being sold within 24 months. The project was awarded Best New Build in a Conservation Area 2007, and the GDV of the development is £10m.
