THE TEAM behind the forthcoming TeesAMP advanced manufacturing park has been chosen.

Property agents Dodds Brown and Cushman & Wakefield will work on the ground-breaking project which is expected to bring up to 1,000 jobs to the Tees Valley.

TeesAMP is the result of a partnership between Middlesbrough Council, Tees Valley Combined Authority and Cleveland Property Developments.

Middlesbrough Council has provided a £12.5m investment for the project while Tees Valley Combined Authority has provided £7.6m.

Stephen Brown of Dodds Brown said: “Dodds Brown is delighted to be working on the TeesAMP project which holds such significance for the Tees Valley economy.

“This is about much more than accommodation for businesses – it’s about providing a wrap-around package of support including skills and training.”

The park will offer 180,000 sq ft of high quality accommodation across 17 buildings in its first phase.

Plans for the park were recently submitted to Middlesbrough Council, and a decision is due within weeks.
